Toastmaster Willard,
Thanks for the heads-up. I don’t have a copy of that manual on hand and have taken to doing up my own evaluation pages as I go along. I like that it gets me to more actively review the criteria before the project. You’ll see my progress in this attachment, though as of this moment, it only includes Projects 2-5 from The Professional Speaker and Projects 1-2 from The Entertaining Speaker. Let me know what you think.

I’ll see about getting some more of those evaluations pages online and updated – I didn’t realize just how much Technical Presentations could have changed!

Please keep the old evaluations guides for the Advance Manuals. I still will like to use them in the future.
Question…Do you have the Evaluation Guides for the Competent Communication manuals?
I will like to used them for my expertise..one topic.

I have not visit your site in a while, but in reference to your question…yes!
I refering to Technical speech manual, in particular. For example the Evaluation Guide for speech #5 in that manual is now called “Enhancing a Technical Talk with the Internet.”
Do you have that one. If I may add, do you have the newer guides for the newer manuals?

Dear Fellow Toastmasters

On 7th August my family and I will be arriving in Shanghai.Once we have settled in,I would love to visit your club as well as a few others too.Hopefully,I would be able to join (transfer my membership)a club in Shanghai.At present,I am a member of Konkan club in Doha,Qatar.
Although,my home is Auckland,New Zealand I started my Toastmasters journey in Durban South Africa in 1992 .It has been an interesting,inspiring and an incredible journey over the years. My only regret is that I had not started earlier.
Over time I have achieved my ACS ,however I would like to acquire my Gold in Shanghai. Recently,I enjoy mentoring both members and clubs.
I would consider it an honour and pleasure to visit your club.

TAG are essential roles! We listen to how many mistakes we made and think of WHY we made the mistakes. Then, we consciously wipe out those in the coming 6 months to 1 year. That’s a painful and long progress, but the payoff is huge. Can you imagine I made 50 ar-s during my P3?

Emotion comprises 84% of decision elements. This explains we judge the maturity and seniority of others by our first impression, i.e. the impression in the beginning 3-minute contact. Too many TAG mistakes undermine our image and it takes long to recover.

Congratulations on continuing your speeches by repeating the manuals. I’ve been doing the same, and can really feel the difference.
Do you mean that the evaluations page for Technical Presentations out of date? We’ll have to check on that…
