How to Join CAT

Joining China Advanced Toastmasters isn’t much different from other clubs.

You have to have your Competent Communicator or Competent Toastmaster award… that means that you must already be of have been a member of Toastmasters – at another club – and have completed your first 10 speeches. If you haven’t done this, you can attend, but just can’t join – please see here for other possible clubs. But otherwise there’s not much to it.

If you haven’t got your CC, please still come along to our meetings – you just can’t join until you do.

Then, fill out Membership Application, submit your member fees (about 350RMB to join then 250RMB thereafter) and we’ll get you moving. Of course, your ultimate membership is still contingent upon the member’s voting to accept you and various procedural things, but that’s never really been a problem with the sort of great people who want to join CAT.
