How to organize your speech is one of the first things we learn from our Competent Communicator manual. But when we need to speak off-the-cuff, how do we organize our thoughts with just a moments notice? Think of the message you want to get across and go from there! Members can practice this skill during our SUPER table topics session.
We’ll have our second round of Super Table Topics, where a member chooses five topics they are familiar with, and their evaluator chooses one of the five topics for the speaker to give a 5-7 minutes speech on. Daniel Smith, Joyce Hu and Carlo Wolff will practice their impromptu speaking skills.
Susan Zhou’s speech is titled “Go Beyond Shenzen Convention” and guest speaker Alice Yan will give her humorous contest speech “My Love My Toastmasters”.
The evaluation team of Jenny Ni, and Friedhelm Maur will be led by General Evaluator Daniel Smith.
